Established in 2021, KD Knives are bespoke knife makers based in Dorset, UK.

All of our knives are hand forged from start to finish, using only the highest quality materials with every care taken to ensure the blades are of the highest specification.

Each blade is unique. From grinding to handle shaping, mosaic pins to sheath making, it is all completed by hand.

A part of Kirk's soul goes into each and every knife, which is what makes these works of art so impressive and difficult for him to part with.

Kirk Dexter has been a full time farrier, running his own business for over 25 years. With a fascination for blades from a young age, he is now following his passion for blacksmithing to create beautiful and uniquely handcrafted knives.

During his spare time, Kirk's other passion of kayaking keeps him grounded. Being out in the countryside and on the water gives him inspiration for his creations.

A family man with a wide interest in the outdoors, he and his family enjoy walking, camping, watersports and anything that involves an adventure and making memories.
